8:00am – Bring your kids out for the Neighborhood Relays and participate in a variety of games and fun activities. The winning teams will be honored with a spot in the afternoon parade!

2:30pm – Hockessin coordinators will be seeking participants for the 1st Annual “Great American Gut Buster Food Devouring Spectacle,” an eating contest designed for brave individuals with a healthy appetite!  Contest winners will receive bragging rights and the glorious Gut Buster Belt through the consumption of wings, hotdogs, burgers and oysters.

3:00pm – After the contest, the parade will begin featuring an array of floats, music, classic cars and star-spangled nostalgia. The parade will take place on Old Lancaster Pike, beginning at Kenwick Road and finishing at Valley Road.
