KFFDELEGATES
The commitment of our friends at Hilltop Lutheran Center, ensure that the 180 youth in their basketball league play together with a focus on teamwork and social skills. This program is paramount to the residents of this neighborhood as the options for after school activity are scarce. In addition to funding the league, part of our sponsorship provided funding for every child to be fed after practice.
2015 will be the third year KFF has committed to providing water and hydrating all team members walking in The Relay For Life. We are proud of our partnership with The American Cancer Society to provide Hydration Stations across all of their events in Delaware County, providing support to each team in the area!
Since 2012, KFF has spent Thanksgiving with the young volunteers from Bellevue Community Center to give thanks to those who protect and serve our national each day. To express our gratitude, our team prepared and delivered 40 dinners to all the fire and police stations in New Castle County.
With a goal to spread community spirit throughout Wilmington, Saturday May 30, has been declared a day of service since 2010. Focusing on improving the neighborhoods of Wilmington, activities include litter removal, beautification projects, landscaping maintenance, and community garden projects with the commitment from over 70 community groups, churches, businesses, and schools. The day ends with a celebratory barbecue, sponsored by KFF and Wilmington City Council.
